What are Romak Solutions?
Romak Solutions is a parasite exterminator solution made specifically for aquatic creatures and is also good for quarantining newly harvested fishes. It has two kinds—Romak 1 & 2. Romak Solutions kill parasites, including Argulus, Lernaea, Ich, Flukes, Trichodina, Costia, Epistylis, and Chilodonella. Romak Solutions is safe to use and will not damage your fish or aquarium. It is a great way to keep your fish healthy and breeding properly.
Romak 1 is Effective Against:
- Argulus (Fish Lice / Kuto)
- Lernaea (Anchor Worm)
- Flashing / Scratching
- Good in Quarantining New Harvested Fishes
Romak 1 Dosage
- For prevention, mix 1 drop of Romak 1 Solution per gallon of water.
- For treatment, mix 3-4 drops of Romak 1 Solution per gallon of water.
Romak 1 Administration
Shake the Romak 1 Solution well before its use. Though it is crucial to stop the filter, be sure that sufficient aeration is provided. After 4-6 hours of treatment, change 50% of the water. Ensure the solution is out of the reach of children.
Romak 2 is Effective Against:
- White Spot (Ich)
- Skin Flukes
- Gill Flukes
- Trichodina
- Costia
- Hole Disease (Epistylis)
- Saprolegnia
- Chilodonella
Romak 2 Dosage
- For prevention, mix 1 drop of Romak 2 Solution per gallon of water.
- For treatment, mix 2-4 drops of Romak 2 Solution per gallon of water.
Romak 2 Administration
Shake Romak 2 Solution before use. Be sure to maintain adequate aeration and turn off the filtration system while doing the treatment. Change 50% of the water after 8 hours of treatment. Repeat the treatment for the following 3-4 consecutive days.
Note: Don’t use Romak 1 & 2 solutions at once. Any fish medicine shouldn’t be used together, for it may cause chemical reactions that can harm your fish.
